So, I wanted to get some input on something that happened to me about maybe a month ago. I woke up in the morning like I always do and let my two dogs outside. I have a golden retriever and a white and tan shih-tzu. When I went to let them back inside I saw them and what I swore was a black dog that from a quick glance looked similar to a border collie body type of dog. I immediately put shoes on and went outside to find no evidence of another dog. There was no possible way that in the 30 seconds it took me to throw a pair of shoes on and get outside that the dog could have left my yard and there were no unfamiliar pawprints. It was as if it disappeared into the snow. I felt like I was losing my mind for at least a week. I saw this black dog and I have no explanation for why I saw it. Did I actually see it or was I hallucianting? If I did see it what does it mean and why did I not get to see more than a flash? Is it some kind of sign or symbol and why have I never seen it before or after that occurence? I have tried very hard to put this experience on the back burner, but it really bothered me because when I was inside I swore there was another dog out there, I mean it shocked me to the point where I went outside and looked for it. If anyone has an ideas, first-hand experiences, or light to shine on this please respond. Thanks.
