I can not say I am a much believer in the theories surrounding 2012, first of all we have seen so many dates for the end of the world come and go, secondly, and I may be mistaken here, but I do not think the Mayan calendar is capable of counting longer than to 2012, that do not mean the world is going to end there, not any more than if someone found a computer from to day with pre generated calenders for up to the year 3020 a thousand years from now, that would not mean the world would end in 3020 but simply mean that is how far the calender of my computer went.

But the world is into a period of change, and while I do not think that three years form now everything will change and our computers and cities and cars and so on will all be gone along with life as we know it. However I do think the human race is changing and developing for a better future for all of us.

Actually all the ancient calandars end there, including the I-Ching, Aztec, etc. The Mayans just had the most accurate calandar (cosmically speaking). There is going to be a shift in the cosmic alignment from Pisces to Aquarius (hence the "Age of Aquarius" everybody talks about), it shifts every 5000+ years or something like that. 2012 is the end of the current time period.

i dont think something will happen, and even something will happen it doest have to be in teh end of 2012 i think earth is dying from natural causes like air pulotion and etc. it doesnt connect to the anciet calendars
