RE: Favorite vampire movie?

Might sound weird, but it just seems that EVERYONE is reading them...even people who wouldn't dare read something "weird" like vampire stories (my home town I was the oddball that like stuff like that, no one else would dare, and I kinda liked it that way, I was unique and felt like my own person rather than a clone like everyone else..). But since everyone else is reading them, I have to refuse to conform. Just a personal thing i guess. lol I'd rather stick to "reading" Anne Rice, she's popular with those who dare to read it. My baby sister is obsessed with the twilight books though. I will probably take her to see the next one, I think it comes out in November. The Twilight books were so much better than the movie. The books are truly awesome. You just have to ignore everybody else and do your own thing. As I said before, the books are always better. Nosferatu was awesome! That was probably the creepiest vampire movie, partly because there was no sound. Then you have the flickering B&W old film. Good stuff.

RE: Favorite vampire movie?
Many vamp movies.. more than I can probably remember right now.
Dusk to Dawn was a great one.. I love the cheesy factor in it as well. |

RE: Favorite vampire movie?
The problem I had with From Dusk Til Dawn was that they tact on a very short horror movie at the end of a crime drama.

RE: Favorite vampire movie?
about twilight.... i would usually agree with that fact, that books are better. but once again, my "own thing" is to not be a robot like everyone else and do what everyone else does. so i choose not to follow them and read that book. i saw the movie, and i find way too many similarities with other vampire movies/books. the only real twist that i haven't already seen was the fact that it all took place with high school age students/people who were made into vampires while high school age. so i will continue watching the movies. besides i can go for any vampire movie anytime. that only takes a couple hours of my time. i don't have the time to waste to read books that big that apparently has too many similarities with others. its a waste of my time. for those of you who read it and love it, thats perfectly fine. i'm not saying no one should. if you like it thats great. just don't expect me to follow along is all. =)
as for from dusk till dawn, i liked that one. especially the fact that it was basically 2 completely different movies put into one. it was pretty cool that way. my fiance was rather fascinated by that as well when i made him watch it with me once, lol. PINWPA

RE: Favorite vampire movie?
my fav. vampire movie....Interview With The Vampire~although the book is far better~
I thought Brad Pitt portrayed Louis' tortured soul pretty well, & Tom Cruise was absolutely gorgeous as the fiendish Lestat^^ (I think Anne Rice's vampire are absolutely marvelous! Old World vampires just bore me.) |

There was a Television show I liked in the 1990's called Forever Knight. I know it is not a movie but it was good.

RE: Favorite vampire movie?
Movie"The original "Dracula". As for the tv, it has been flooded with shows, some good, some bad, some just plain ugly. I honestly think of one I like, after going through one book I have with a section of just vampire movies.
