I was in my friends room and started having a panic attack.

What went through my mind was "I better find this thing, or ill have to call my husband and make sure he isn't dead!" LOL My heart was racing over nothing.

So I checked the whole room. Nothing.

Open the door. And there's a shadow person hunched outside the door.

I go.. "ooook..." and casually close the door in its face.

It then re-opens the door and dissapeers as my friend comes out of the bathroom.

...2 hours later, we hear a knock on the door. A rythmic one, definitely a knock not a mistaken sound.

And as we see there's no ones there, the normally chill cat FREAKED out. Hissing and growling, and we couldn't pry her out of the closet for a while.

BTW, this spirit is also known by the whole family, to: open all the doors in the basement, and turn on all the lights.
Has been seen by the whole family, and some of their friends.

So the family knows about this apparition. Has there been any attempts made into trying to communicate with this entity?

I would try to find out what it is doing here. If your cat is growling and hissing at this entity that is not a good sign.

Cats usually do that with any spirit whether friendly or not. I would love to see this first hand though as it seems to be interesting.

I've never had a cat do that to anything actually. You are putting very little faith into the intelligence of cats. They can tell if something is a threat or not.

My cat doesn't give a damn about the ghosts in my house. But when a psyvamp comes in, she watches it and becomes very wary, she'll come sit on me if I'm in bed, and stay awake on lookout all night.

Does it have to be a psyvamp? or is it anything hostile all together.

Well I've seen cat we had react to any spirit like that no matter if the spirit was a threat or not. Maybe we just had an edgy cat.

Like Patrick Swayze... he was nice, but him being around pissed deh kitty off....



But seriously I wouldn't just rush in and predict that the thing you saw is the reason for the lights switching on and off, if they feel threatened by their visitors, have the house annointed, but if you want to dig deeper into this, then yeah... connect with whatever it is.

Wouldn't hurt to set up some cameras in the corners of the room or something..

All shadow creatures, ghosts, poltergiests, apparitions, and unwanted spiritual creatures are demons. Psyvamp is just a name to describe a demon we do not understand orwe just want to categorize.
It is easier just to call it what it is,.........a demon. Of a certain order, with a certain purpose, with certain powers and abilities, none of which we understand.
But we must understand....they hate us,...and want us to believe in things other than Christ and lure us to open the door to their world so they can reign in our life.
Don't let that happen. Understanding that they are an enemy prepares us for the spiritual battle which fortunately will be fought for us with faith in Christ.

Seems a bit overzealous and extremist to me, there. Perhaps there's something behind that, maybe not. Who're we mortal men and women to say? At any rate, I believe that shadow beings and such are simply ghosts, residual bits of psychic energy and memories, as well as some spiritual energies, which puts off a mild electrical field, as would any thinking incorporeal creature, since all thoughts and memories are created by bioelectrical energies. At any rate, I like to believe that ghosts are the remains of people who still either believe they are still alive, or have something holding them to this world, keeping them from resting.

Also, just curious, what exactly is a Psyvamp, by definition?
