I am curious. I would like to know how to attract spirits. Is there a way in which to do this? Of course there is the Quija Board, which I've never gotten to work for me. And, I have tried hard, believe me. So many people say that it works, and the repercussions of their use is mixed, at best. So, it's not that I don't believe that they work...but mine must be broken..lol. I have a very curious nature, and I'm not frightened by the spirit world at all. I don't know why my facination is so great. It always has been. And I've read numerous books, read extensively, but it's just not working for me. I'm not trying to attract anything negative, and I haven't. I haven't attracted anything period. That I'm aware of. Brother-in-law exluded. As, I've tried long before his passing, and well after as well. When asked "Why do/would you want to attract spirits/ghosts to you?" I can honestly say, "I don't know." It's something that I have been fixated on since I was a child. Sometimes the urge isn't so persistant, but all in all, the need to make some kind of contact is very real to me, and always in my train of thought somewhere thoughout my day. I don't understand why, as most people don't like it, and if they have the ability, don't want it, are frightened by it...I'm not. And I can't talk myself into the rational thought that I should be at least somewhat cautious or afraid...Andone got some suggestions or anything?

Go get a job at a retirement home, it may take some time however you will have some of the strangest thing, things beyond explanation, happen to you there. Or I guess you could volunteer, charity work for a ghostly encounter.

Thats not really much of a suggestion.Its more like telling this person to go out and do something for themselves.

Honestly I cannot answer the question. Some people can and some people cannot do this.

It is a place that is entrenched in death with people from various places, some of whom are bound to have attachments of a spiritual nature.

To attract spirits....If I were to give advise to anyone, I would say this. They are at large and around us all the time. Try experimenting with various ways to control and manipulate your own energy and perception. For me it's a matter of using my senses to bring about the use of my third eye. Opening yourself to 'outside' forces may seem scary and can be dangerous if one forgets that it's a reflection of the infinate nature of the multiverse.
They layman's way is through cataclystic events induced by chemicals. This process can show you doors of perception that your energy body will never forget about no matter what happens. However, it is up to the individual to Will yourself to those positions of reality with sufficient energy. Everyone can in time do it, some are just more predilected than others in this area of perception. It may take time, even I still struggle daily to push myself into states of conciousness unexplored by my Id.
