Reoccuring, lucid night terrors. Please help me!
I'm a sixteen year old girl. I've always had weird paranormal experiences, mostly with seeing spirits, empathising, and having premonitions. Lately, I have been having terrible dreams of something tormenting in my sleep. Only I'm starting to think they aren't dreams. The first dream happened a year or two ago. I was sleeping and I began to feel electric currents run through me and muscle spams. Sometimes I was on the ceiling watching my body convulse on the bed. I couldn't wake up, and when I did, I was not really awake. THe dream lasted all night long. The next one didn't happen untill about four months ago. This time, something was slinging me violently around in my bed and spinning me in circles as I lay. Sometimes in the dream it was like I was watching all this happen from the ceiling. I could feel the carpet and bedsheets rub on me as I spun. I couldn't fight back or move or scream. And I couldn't wake up. The dream lasted all night long. THe next one was about a month ago. In that dream, something drug and threw me violently to the floor me out of bed over and over all night long, and i had to drag myself back into bed. Sometimes I was watching from the ceiling as whatever it was tormented me. Everytime I woke up I wasnt really asleep even the I could see my room perfectly and feel everything as though it was real. I couldnt move or talk again. This is true for all of my "dreams" and that how I know its something more than just a dream. Even if what is happening to me is jsut in my head something is putting it there, because its just too real. The most recent one happened two nights ago. In this one I was also being violently drug out of my bed and into my dresser. As I was fighting to wake up, I bit my fingers so bad I had teeth marks in my hands I kept "waking up"and screaming for my daddy but all this turned out to be part of whatever was happening. This time I saw eyes in the cornor of my room, at the ceiling and a shadow of a man by my dresser. ALl my dreams are the same, Im paralyzed, I can never wake up all the way and they last all night. Every feature pf the room is perfectly the I left my room, right down to the things on the floor I can always feel everything like the carpet, the dresser, my bed. Please please help me! I know this is more than just dreams and I am terrified to sleep or be alone at night. I need to know how to make them stop. I feel like its something evil that has attached its self to me. Im scared it will hurt me or posses me. please help!! |

RE: Reoccuring, lucid night terrors. Please help me!
Hey Cicilylove, it's terrifying I know, It's known as 'Sleep Paralysis', and you're not alone. Scientists believe it to be a sleep defect, and virtually the opposite of sleep walking, whilst those who suffer from it aren't quite as convinced.
You can read about others who experience it, etc. here: http://hubpages.com/hub/Sleep_Paralysis_..._Treatment DARE YOU PLAY? - Free Online Ouija Board |

RE: Reoccuring, lucid night terrors. Please help me!
'Sleep Paralysis' is believed to be spirits in your dreams or trying to contact you while you sleep. So I've heard.
Other theory is that when you go into a deep sleep, your brain shuts off your body, so you can't hurt yourself in your deep sleep. ![]() Either way, it's still scary. I've had more of my fair share of those, and I've always hated them. ...Is anybody there...? |
